This act gave everyone the right of being equal within citizenship.

Ku Klux Klan

This was and still is a very hateful group that believes in the rising of the south that doesn't want to live side by side with colored people.

Military Reconstruction Acts

This act split the military into 5 districts.

Andrew Johnson’s Impeachment Trial

Feb 24, 1868

This man was not doing his job as a president and was violating the Tenure of Office Act.

Election of Ulysses S. Grant

Jul 21, 1868

He made the act that allowed AM vote.

14th Amendment

Jul 28, 1868

It gave those born on American soil citizenship even if their parents were not.

15th Amendment

Mar 30, 1870

It gave everyone the right to vote including women at this time.
