    Toddler
    Bryan who is two years old is screaming, crying, and kicking on the floor of his kitchen. He wanted two cookies before breakfast and his mother told him no. He is going through Erikson's second stage, also known as the "terrible two's" to most people. Bryan didn't get his way so he is throwing a temper tantrum. In this stage Bryan is learning right from wrong, it is not okay to have dessert before breakfast so his mom is teaching him. Eventually Bryan will learn dessert comes after dinner.
  • School Age

    School Age
    Bryan sits inside at recess time and looks out at all the kids playing with their friends everyday. He feels like he is not good enough to hang out with the other kids from his class. They all hangout on the weekends whike Bryan stays home. This is Erikson's fourth stage, he feels inadequet compared to his peers, not good enough to comverse with them so he stays away which also explains his low-self esteem.
  • Young Adult

    Young Adult
    Bryan has grown into an adult, he has had a successful with relationship with his girlfriend for a couple years now and they are planning on getting married at the end of the year. Bryan is ready to settle down and start a family of his own, both of them want to have to have children as soon as they are married. This is Erikson's 6th stage where people build meaningful relationships with their partners and their good friends or they stay closed off and to themselves.
  • Middle Aged Adult

    Middle Aged Adult
    Bryan just received a promotion at work. He is now going to be the head controller instead of the assistant controller. This is a huge responsibilty that he is taking on, but his family is very accepting and happy for him. Bryan is experiencing Erikson's 7th stage, he is living a stable life and with this new promotion, he will be producing a difference in his work place and actually be able to choose what should be done.
