Elijah held a whole conversation with his sister while they made pancakes. He explained to her how pancakes are his favorite thing to eat and went on to explain how pancakes are always made with eggies. -

PHONOLOGY: Shows no issues with any constants even when he gets excited
SYNTAX AND MORPHOLOGY: Has begun to use past tense and contractions. When asked what if he got to play at the park today, he said "We went there" In another instance when asked if he saw his friend he said, "No, he's sick" -

Elijah understands kinship terms and knows the relationship he has with his family members. When people ask "where is your sister?" or "is daddy at work?" he knows who they are asking about and how to answer. -

Elijah had told his grandma how his Sunday went "I went with mommy to the park. I was running and got on slide. Mommy bought me ice cream. It was hot , my ice cream melted and got on my shirt. and my mommy had to change my shirt because it was dirty". -

Elijah can use reflexive pronouns when he speaks such as saying sentences such as "she did that herself." -

Elijah gave his baby cousin the toy he was playing with when the baby started crying and pointing in his direction. -

PHONOLOGY: Understands when most things said by not just his parents but other adults and children. In day care he has no problem listening and understanding to his care taker.
SYNTAX AND MORPHOLOGY: Has began adding a plural s to almost everything. When asked what his shoes were he said "Theses are red" -

Elijah had told a story to his baby cousin. He had said "one day there was this dog named bubbles. one day bubbles had dug a hole in the backyard and got out. Bubbles thought she would take herself on a walk. while bubbles was on a walk she met some friends and hung out with them. bubbles started to get hungry and she tried going back home but she got lost. bubbles got sad because she couldn't find her way home". -

PHONOLOGY: While he has no problem making all constant sounds he struggles with specific words such /n/ and /m/ sound sometimes he says "moodles' instead of "noodles"
SYNTAX AND MORPHOLOGY: Sentences are getting more complex using both subordination and coordination clauses in his speech. He mentioned that he " Loves Tv and the Incredibles" If you put the Incredibles alone someone might not understand its a movie -

Elijah's speech has improved at a great rate, he can understand 2,500-2,800 words spoken to him -

Elijah just finished his baseball game and was thirst so he asked his sister " can you please buy me a juice? I am thirsty." -

PHONOLOGY: He seems to have trouble with "ch" sound when he takes a picture instead of saying "cheese" it sounds like he says "Sheese"
SYNTAX AND MORPHOLOGY: His sentences have gotten much longer this morning he asked "Can I have pancakes with juice" -

Elijah is using deictic terms when he talks such as "this is cool" or "she's over there" and "I want that". -

Elijah told his pre k teacher a story that consisted of a sequence of events, but the story did not consist of any main character or held a specific theme.
