During the morning of September 11, 2001 four commercial passenger airliners were hijacked by terrorists. Two of the aforementioned planes were each flown into a twin tower resulting in the catastrophic collapse that killed 2 752 people (including 157 plane passengers). -

Catherine's obnoxious younger brother was brought into the world. -

Catherine's family moved to Canada. -

Royal Wedding (Kate & William)
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and Prince William joined in holy matrimony. Kate Middleton is the first person to ever marry into the royal family without royal lineage. -
Grade 8 Graduation
Catherine graduated from grade 8 after delivering a last minute speech. -

The OSSTF (Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation) ended their boycott to extracurriculars. -

Catherine's family moved to Newmarket; hopefully, to stay for a couple of years.
