    -Dillon starts to learn about how to fight ISIS and what groups he can join to help

    • When ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack Dillon became focused on joining the fight on ISIS -This was the trigger point that made Dillon go to Iraq
  • Dillon Boards a plane and leaves for Iraq

    • At this point Dillon sold most of his belongings to pay for the trip and his weapons -There was no turning back once he got on the plane pg.21
  • Meeting Lieutenant Ali in Iraq

    -This was a very dangerous point in the story as Ali could set up an ambush to kill Dillon or give him over to ISIS
    - Dillon had also never met Ali face to face so this was going to be their first meeting.

  • Dillon Arrives at the Base

    -Dillon was given his weapon and supplies at the base and meets some of the soldiers
    - He communicates with his family for the first time since they found out he was fighting ISIS since he told them just before he got on the plane.

    -Dillon joins a rebel army and helps them on the front lines less than 1000 meters away from ISIS fighters

    • During the fighting Dillon saves a man from death and gets multiple confirmed kills
