    THe first KKK Klan is created by Veterans of the Confederate Army in Pulaski, Tennessee. The was an extremeist or terrorist group that was against blacks, republicans and immagrants.

    Laborers from the Central Pacific railroad met with the Union Pacific railroad workers at Promontory Summit in Utah where a ceremony was held for the last spike to be driven in. It was the worlds first live mass media event sent by telegraph.
