This act established funding for vocational agriculture in high schools. -
Virgina gets FFA Clubs
Virgina was the first state to have Future Farmers clubs for boys only. Girls were not allowed to join at this time. -
FFA becomes national organization
A network of teachers guided this establishment of FFA as a club for boys with farm interest. -

This was a program like the FFA but for blacks. -

FFA became one of the few student organizations to recieve a federal charter from congress called public law 740 -
FFA and NFA merge
The NFA for blacks and the FFA for whites merged int one organization -
Girl can join
This is the first time girls are allowed to join the FFA. -
FFA named changed
FFA changed to a national organization to reflect the growing diversity in the agricultual business -
Compleates 7 year run
The national convention for FFA compleated a 7 year run in Indianapolis and returned to Louisville, Kentucky in 2013 for 3 years
