    In December 1937, The Japanese army went into china's capital city of Nanking. Then murdered 300,000 out of 600,000 civilians and soldiers. After beating the Chinese at Shanghai in November, 50,000 soldiers went toward Nanking.

    1.5 million soldiers invaded Poland. On September 3 war was declared on Germany. To neutralize the possibility that the USSR would come to Germany'd aid they signed a pact with the soviet union. The polish army was able to mobilize on million men, but it didn't help.

    On December 7 hundreds of Japanese planes attacked the american naval base at Pearl Harbor. The Japanese destroyed 20 vessels, 8 battleships, and more than 300 airplanes. More than 2,000 soldiers died. The next day, president Franklin Roosevelt requested a war on Japan.

    The nazi officials meet to discuss the details of the final solution. Orders from Hitler, Herman Goering to submit a plan to finally have a solution or plan for the jewish question. A plan which would include a mass sterilization and deportation to the island of Madagascar. Then transporting jews from their homes to concentration camps in Poland and work them to death. The conferecnes were kept which later helped for evidence during the nuremberg war crimes trials.

The united states was able to preempt and counter Japans planned abash of its few remaining aircraft carriers. The victory allowed the united stats to move into an offensive position.

Many starved, and energy to keep walking. Many got beat because they weren't walking fast enough. The people were split into groups of 100. Each group took 5 days to make it to the prison camps.

    Last and biggest battle of World War 2. There was 287,000 soldiers against 130,000 of the Japanese army. Japan lost more than 77,000 and the allies had more than 65,000 wounded, or dead. Both sides of the generals had died in battle. Many battleships, aircraft, and more than 10,000 losses.

    Allied troops moved across Europe in a series of offensives against Nazi Germany. They were taking thousands of concentration prisoners. many survived marches. Many suffered starvation and different types of diseases. The Germans tried to get rid of the damage they did, also the evidence from killing. they attempted to burn the crematoriums. Hundreds of thousands of male clothing was found and 800,000 women clothing. After shaving their hair, more than 14,000 pounds of hair was found.

The first day of the conference was on july17 and ended on august 2. The leaders issued a declaration demanding surrender from Japan.

    The United States becomes the first and only nation to use atomic weapons during wartime. it marked the end of world war 2. The first atomic bomb was successful. The blast was equivalent to the power of 15,000 tons of TNT reduced four square miles of the city. The bomb would immediately kill 80,000 people. Many people died from radiation weeks after. Three days later another bomb had been dropped. it killed over 40,000 people.

    It was announced that Japan had Surrendered unconditionally to the allies, ending world war 2. August 15 was known as " victory over japan Day" or V-J Day. after the nazi Germany surrender , japan brought 6 years of hostilities. The Potsdam Declaration called on japan to surrender The Japanese government refused to surrender. After the bombs hit Hiroshima and Nagasaki The Japanese accepted the terms of the declaration.
