I was born in January 2008 in Rochester Michigan. This occurred at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday. I was 6 lbs at my birth. My parents have told me that I was a very quiet baby who barely cried in the hospital. Barak Obama was the current president.

    First Day of Preschool
I attended preschool at St. John Lutheran school in Rochester. I continued to go to this school until 8th grade. My mom tells me that I cried and was scared to attend. But once I got into the classroom, I loved it. I am still in touch with several of my preschool classmates to this day.

    Zoo Field Trip
One of the most memorable field trips I took was to the Zoo in second grade. The class split into smaller groups and explored the place on our own. I had a lot of fun with my friends seeing all of the animals. At the end of the trip, I bought a stuffed animal, an arctic fox. We drove home in cars with our friends and excitedly discussed the day.

    Disney World Vacation

One of my favorite places in the world is Disney, and I had always wanted to go. My family and I stayed at the Polynesian Resort. We alternated between days of swimming in the hotel's pool with a fun waterslide and visiting the parks. Back then, I was scared of roller coasters, but now I've realized I missed out. I enjoyed the tropical climate and the magic of it all.

    5th Grade Camp

One of my favorite memories from my old school is 5th grade camp. For a week, my class and I stayed at a camp and participated in many outdoor activities. We went kayaking, walked the forest trails, played games outside, and more. One of my classmates had a terrible accident and had to be taken to the hospital to get stitches. We slept in cabins; it was the first time I was separated from my family for days at a time.

    Washington DC Trip

In 8th grade, my class took a trip to Washington DC. We rode 11 hours there and back on a bus and stayed at a hotel for the week. We explored all of the famous monuments and landmarks. Our tour guide was very kind and informative. This trip is one of my favorites to date.

    8th Grade Graduation
I graduated 8th grade on June 8, 2022. I went to St. John Lutheran all of my life until this point. I was very sad to leave behind everything I knew. I shared many teary goodbyes with my teachers and friends. Despite the sadness, I looked forward to a new beginning in high school.
  • Tigers Game

    Tigers Game
My family typically goes to an annual Tigers Game. This year was especially fun because my Dad invited his work friends, and I am good friends with their kids, who are around my age. We went on the Ferris Wheel, got hot pretzels, and overall just enjoyed ourselves in the sun. I don’t remember the outcome of the game. The day was warm, sunny, yet not hot enough to be unbearable.
  • First Day of High School

    First Day of High School
I attend high school at Lutheran Northwest. My sister went there, and all of my friends were attending. I was very scared to begin and meet new people. The new environment was daunting, as were the new pressures and responsibilities. But I quickly settled in with a perfect friend group and learned to manage the more advanced work.
  • First Homecoming

    First Homecoming
My first homecoming was my first school dance. My friends and I went out to dinner at Bravo beforehand and walked around the village taking amiably. When we got to the dance we took many pictures and danced. We were all sad to leave at 9:00, but looked forward to the next dance. I will always remember this night as one of my favorite high school memories.
  • Confirmation

    Confirmation
After several classes and 8 years of going to church at St. John, I got confirmed. Many of my classmates were confirmed with me. I got many pictures with my family. My parents gave me a prayer journal, and we went out to lunch together as a family. I still go to this church today, and plan to do so for a while.

    Florida Vacation

In the Spring, when my dad was taking a break from work, we decided to take a family vacation. We stayed at Pink Shell Resort at Fort Myers Beach. It was a change of pace from our usual vacations, and I enjoyed the peace. I swam in the ocean and hung out on the beach for the most part. One day, we drove a rental car downtown and explored the area.

    Tennessee Trip

Our family usually goes on vacation to Florida, but we decided on a change of pace with Tennessee. We stayed at Margaritaville, where we were able to walk around the little town, buy souvenirs, hold exotic birds, and more. It was nice and sunny the first two days, so we took advantage of the rooftop pool. Another day, we went to Dollywood and enjoyed all the fun rides. The last day it rained, so we were unable to go into the mountains, but it was still a fun, memorable experience.
  • My 16th Birthday

    My 16th Birthday
On my sixteenth birthday, I was allowed to stay home from school. This allowed me to sleep in and wake up happy to celebrate. My parents and my sister made me a cake. They also got me several gifts and made very thoughtful cards. When I went back to school, my friends all wished me a happy birthday.

    Chicago Trip

Over the summer, my family and I had minimal plans, so we visited Chicago. We stayed for a weekend. We explored the city and visited many shops. We used to visit Chicago all the time when I was younger, but we hadn't been in a while. It was good to recall earlier memories and make some new.
