This event outraged the white parents so they did not let there children attend the school the little being the only one to attend in a while. when she would walk in many adults would yell at her call her names but she was protected by the national guard. -

Some were beat in the resturants by owners or other whites this job was mostly taken by the young men -

Freedom rides took place in the south but it was people from the north both black and white that went to the south to attend this event. On there way down south there bus was stopped and attacked by the KKK and many white supremisist they burned the bus. The people that did escaped were beaten and the ones who help were considered traitors. -

The 16th street Baptist chuch was when bombs went off down in the south in one of the churches were many kids where. This bombs went off and killed 4 people this outraged the african american community because kids where the victims. -
Selma
Selma MarchThe event in Selma was when blacks decided to march down to montgomery but on there way there this being a peaceful march they were awaited by state troopers where they were told to despurse but as they didnt the officers began to beat on the marchers and through gas at the marchers.
