    The most signifigant war in World War 2. It was a battle between Russia and Germany. The war stopped the Germans from advancing to the Soviet Union and put the allies in favor of the war. The battle was brutal and had over 2 million casualties.

    United States, Canada, and Great Britain troops all stormed five beaches. They were covered by 3airborn divisions. The terrain was hard, but the troops managed and got all the way to Paris.

    The troops arrived at Paris and about 1 month later they were at the German border. It got cold quick and snow fell. The Germans were determined to push through Bastogne within 24 hours. Germany was stopped by the allies and they were pushed behind their own lines

    The final big offesive attack of the European Theatre. The battle was a shorter one, it was only 2 weeks long. The Soviets attacked from the north, south, and east and it was a very successful attack. In the middle of the battle Hitler committed suicide.
