From a dispute over the place on the throne in Spain finally broke a decisive war, which made the idea of the German Empire a bit more clearer
That could be a reason why some people moved out of Germany. Maybe they feared the war. -
In 1890 the Wilhelm ll had interest in new technologies and there were many new inventions. Also the relationship of Germany with out her nations was very good and it was one of the most powerful countries in the world.

WW2 started with Hitler's attack on Poland. More than 60 Millionen people died due to the war. The axis powers were fighting against the allies which caused a war all over Europe and included 60 countries. Jews were deported to concentration camps.

On November 9, 1989, as the Cold War began to thaw across Eastern Europe citizens of the GDR were free to cross the country’s borders. East and West Berliners flocked to the wall, drinking beer and champagne and chanting “Tor auf!” (“Open the gate!”). At midnight, they flooded through the checkpoints.
