He is " The father of indipendance" and he was the first to make a stand for the mexican republic. He also arrested many spainereds. To start off his speach- Cry of Dolores- he rang the bell and called a rebelliun. -
Jose Lara
Lara had many jobs and sson ran low on supplies. One day he went to get his supplies and he United States. He got there Decambrer 11 1811 and got to list the plans for establishments in texas. -
Jose Gutierrez De Lara
Lara and his brother were sucessful for formenting the resolution in Nuevo Santander. Lara left Saltillow for the USA in 1811. On April 12 1812 is when his expidition took place in Texas. -
Constition of 1824
The constition said that presidant got to decide how long each session was. There were 2 houses. Catholicism was the state faith. The senitor had 4 year terms and the Deputies had 2 year terms. -
Agustus Magee
Augustus Magee served under Gen in 1809. He resigned fron the army in 1812. On Agust 2, 1812 he started to invade Texas. Durning this expidition he died of ill feb 6, 1812 -

The Guterriez-Magee ex.piditon and the Jose de Toledo y Dubols were in battle. This was one of the bloodiest fights ever taken place in Texas. People called it the war of 1812 because it affected alot of other contries -
Jean Lafitte
He sailed to Galviston and colonized there. He got money to make a rivil base and he turned againstSpain and helped Mexico. In 1819 he called it the Galvezton island after one of his people. -
Dr. James Long
Dr. James Long was a leader of a long expidition started in 1793. He joined the us army in 1812 to be a surgeon for war.In 1815 Long assosiated with the W.W. Walker bissness. Then in 1819 Long tried to conqure Texas then got imprisoined for a while and went to mexico to plead his case in 1822. Then Long was shot and killed by a guard. -
State Colonized Law
The United States federal system was the basis of colinalization contracts. The Mexicans got one similar. The congress agreed not to change any major colonalization until 1840. -
Merger of Coachuila y Texas
They passed a new lawof state colinalization. it said americans could settle but the mexicans had first pick. It also allowed imigrants to be free of taxas for a while. It encouraged raching and farming.
