During this time he invented Akiko, a 33 page comic book. He would create ten comics per year about Akiko.

Mark has went to go visiting St. Boniface School in Germantown Wisconsin. When he went there he had a lot of Akiko fans that suprised him. To him its now the Akiko capital of the United States.

One of Mark's last creations was a comic book called Miki Falls.It was published by ''Harper Collins''. A four volume Manga series.

Next was that ''Akiko and the Missing Misp", hit stores in November of 2008, this book was for young readers.

The library assocation put the Miki Falls in the graphic novel section.

Ever since Miki Falls been out its been optioned for film development by Paramount Pictures and Brad Pitt's Plan B production company.
