Hitler's invasion of Austria
The period where the Germans were trying their best to expand and gain more land. Records show that Hitler didn’t really “invade” Austria, it was more like combining the two countries together to be more powerful. The Austrian side was fine with the two countries coming together as well. The Austrian military welcomed the Germans. -
Battle of Britain
Battle of Britain – October 1940- Just when everything way going in the Nazi’s way which was by controlling the English channel and the British struggling, Hitler had changed his strategies and the German air-force started to bomb major cities in Britian. This made the RAF (British air-force) to rebuild their planes and bases. However, even though Britain had suffered and had a big amount of innocent civilians dead, Germans were not able to control Britain. -
Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor- While the Nazi were in a huge fight at Moscow, Hitler asked Japan to attack the Russian from the opposite side. Instead, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This had caused the U.S. go to war which later cause the Nazi to declare a war against the U.S. This had a chain effect to it and the U.S. supplied the Soviet Union with tanks and other supplies. -
