Battle of France/Miracle of Dunkirk
May 27 - June 4, 1940
340,000 allied troop were stuck on the beach of Dunkirk surrounded by Axis power making it so that they could not be rescued. When they finally are, they are taken back home where they are seen as heroes along with the civilian ships and sailors that saved all of those troops. -
Battle of Britain
July 10, 1940 - October 31, 1940
This is when the Royal Air Force had been fighting off all of the incoming attacks from the Nazi's trying to get some of the land that Britain had. -
Battle of Leningrad
September 8, 1941 - January 27, 1944
This is a battle that the Germans were fighting against the Russians trying to get the city of Leningrad from the Russians. This battle was a 900 day seige over the town. -
Battle of Stalingrad
July 7, 1942 - February 2, 1943
This was yet another attempt for Germany to try to get a hold of Russian land. This battle had started to make a tide for the allies winning. -
Operation Torch
Nov 8, 1942 - Nov 10, 1942
This was an attack on the North African people from the Anglo-American people. This was an operation that was going for the axis powers location in Africa so that the allies could wipe them out from the bottom. -

This is when there is an attack or a siege of some sort that is to be initiated. This is really just the day in which this happens. -
Battle of the Bulge
Dec 16, 1944 - Jan 25, 1945
This was the last German attack move on the Western Front. It had came from one of the forests from Belgium. -
Battle of Berlin
Apr 16, 1945 - May 2, 1945
This was the swift demise of the Nazi power as the allies marched on Berlin and took it, seizing power from Adolf Hitler. This also ended the second world war.
