It started from th 5th and ended on the 12th. It eneded by more allies. If the Germans had won the battle the war would have most likely been over. It also caused trench warfare in the middle of the battle. -

It was from October to November 1914. It took place in the city of Ypres thats why it's called that. It was an obstacle by the Germans advancing on the French. -

From August 21 to August 29 of the year 1915. Thia was all about a hill and if the people involveed dominated it, they would have almost won the battle. -

It was between the German and French armies between February 21 and December 18. about 700,00 people died that Battle. It ended by the French winning in the North-Eastern. -
Battle of the Somme
It took place between July 1rst and September of 1916. It was considered the battle of war by the British. It was one of the largest battles in the war. The battle began in the summer but ended very cold and bloody. -
Battle of Caporetto
It took place from October 24 to November 1of 1917. It was against the Italians and they managed to break through their front line.
