Nelson Mandela managed to be president of South Africa in 1994 and lasted until 1999. Before of this politician life he was in the army. In 1962 he was arrested and was sentenced for his entire life to prison. Mandela spent 27 years in prison and after that large and sad period of time, he was finally released in 1990.
