    The U.S gave Western Europe 13 billion dollars to help rebuild after the war.

    U.S military invasion of Cuba, where we attempted to overthrow Castro but failed.

    Set of programs in the U.S that was launched by LBJ in hopes to get rid of poverty and racial injustice.

    A program designed to provide health coverage for low-income people.

    Draft- there was a major draft resistance the selected soldiers would claim disability and flee to Canada so they wouldn't have to participate in the war.

    Credibility gap-was widely used by skeptics to question the truthfulness of Johnson administration's policies
    Silent Majority- was a popular term used in Nixons speech, he said "And so tonight—to you, the great silent majority of my fellow Americans—I ask for your support."
