Starts writing political pamphlets on The class struggles in France"there appeared the bold slogan of revolutionary struggle: Overthrow of the bourgeoisie! Dictatorship of the Working class!." Publishes the Communist Manifesto.(written jointly with Engels) that starts with "A spectre is haunting Europe—the spectre of Communism", and ends with "Workers of the World Unite!".
