John Polkinghorne

    John Polkinghorne born 16 October 1930

    Sir Polkinghorne is a British mathematician which studied at Trinity University and CalTech along with several others in between, however he did earn a major scholarship for Trinity. After completing is post doctoral degree he became a lecturer in Scotland and back in Cambridge. In 1968 he became a math professor and some time in the US again at universities such as Berkeley, Stamford and Princeton.

    John Polkinghorne 1974 key event

    In 1974 Polkinghorne was elected into the Royal Society for his outstanding efforts in mathematical physics. His most incredible findings and teachings were in the realm of quantum mechanics. Polkinghorne was also a writer and wrote several papers on electrodynamics and finite time interval. One of his last writings ws in 1980 and it discussed the high energy processes. He was also involved in a program a Cambridge that studied maximal analyticity.

    All in all Polkinghorne had many great writings and teachings in the math world all over Europe and at many Universities in the US. He eventually left science and became ordained in the Church of England
