    Directly after the war, Great Britain was overwhelmed with debt. So, they taxed the colonists almost any way possible.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    British soldiers shot into an angry mob out of confusion. A few american colonists were killed, further festering the tension between the two parties.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    Fed up with the tax on tea, a few bostonions revolted and dumped tea from British ships.
  • Second Continental Congress

    Second Continental Congress
    This time, the Continental Congress enacted the Continental Army, a way of finalizing the upcoming, unrelenting war.
