Captains of Industry were people who helped by making useful inventions or helped a lot in producing goods.

    Henry Ford invents the first assembly line, making cars much easier to produce.Assembly lines helped make goods such as cars a lot easier. Automobiles became much more cheap and reliable. The assembly line also used division of labor so that each person was in charge of only one job.
