1798 Naturalization Act

This act gives the US permission to deport immigrants if the US goes to war with the immigrants' home country

1882 Immigration Act

This law places a 50 cent tax on all aliens entering US ports. This also made it a requirement for immigrants to have background checks and medical examinations before entering the country.

1941 Wartime Measure

Jun 20, 1941

This act prevents aliens for entering or continuing to live in the US if they prevent a security threat to Americans

2006 Secure Fence Act

This act gives the US permission to guard the US-Mexico border and create physical fencing and barriers between the borders.
