    California Proposition 187
    This proposition basically said that the reason the economy in California was doing so poorly was because of illegal immigrants. This proposition denied illegal immigrants access to healthcare, education, etc. The propostion was passed, but decleared unconstitutional in 1997.

    This set requirements for State ID's, changed visa limits for temporary workers, funded some reports for border security, updated/increased laws for deporting immigrants, waived laws that interfered with the construction of physical barriers at the borders.

    It basically allows cops to question immigration status when they pull over someone, or have reasonable suspicion to believe they are an immigrant. Many claimed this bill to be racist.

    Georgia HB 87
    In result to Arizonas HB 1070, Georgia decided to try and pass a bill that required government agencies to check the immigration status of aplicants. This bill was passed and was put into effect on July 1st, 2011.
