    Magna Carta

    Magna Carta
    There was a crisis in which the King was controling manz things since he believed he was so divine. The Bishop (Pope) and the rebel Barons forced the King into signing the Magna Carta. The Magna Carta stated that everzbody had the right to a fair trial. It gave the people some of the King's power as well.
  • English Bill of Rights

    The cause of the creation of this document was mostly because of the absolute power King James had. The Glorious Revolution tended to overthrow King James. With these William III and Mary II were going to become the new rulers with the condition of accepting the Bill of Rights which would limit power and give rights to all Englishmen.

    John Adams persuaded Thomas Jefferson into creating the first draft of the Declaration. This is the first document in which the US declares their independence. Benjamin Franklin also collaborated on the draft. The one who adopted it was the Continental Congress.

    There was a lot of inequality between the social classes in France... this led to revolts from the third class which were the peasants. The King agreed with the people and created the National Assembly. They agreed to create the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen which would give people rights but this would not work for women nor slaves nor people in the colonies.

    This occured sfter the Civil war which was between the North and the South. Frederick Douglas was an abolitionist leader. This promoted many rights for people, one of the most important being eguality. Abraham Lincoln approved it on February 1 1865.

    The major empires influenced imperialism around the world. Dusirng this time many people like Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, tried to protect human rights but imperialism was something that violatd them. Imperialism was pretty much a rejection of Human Rights.

    This event was a complete and extreme violation of Human Rights it took away the libert of many people like jewish, political leaders, black people and many others. There were an estimated of 11 million deaths due to this mayham. Hitler was a leader during this time and he was the promoter of this madness.
