  • Japan Invades China

    Japan and china always had battles with each other. China is known to be the largest country in the world, along with their resources, land, and people. Japan wanted this for themselves so japan started destroying all the countries around china to work up into conquering china. China then became strong and struck back at japan winning the war. Lots of women and men have died during it. Chinese people were relieved for the ones who survived. Rest in peace for the ones that did not.
  • Germany Invades Poland

    Nazi leader hitler had germany invade poland with his troops. He did this because it was an agreement of the nazi soviet pact that stalin and hitler would divide poland between the two when he invades them. They went through polish with more than enough tanks and planes destroying many. Poland then surrendered to germany. Prisoners of the war were then kept for slavery and abused.
  • German Blitzkrieg

    Blitzkrieg, a phrase that is know for lighting war that hitler used when he declared warfare. He used this tactic to invade poland then later for denmark, norway and other low countries.
  • Operation Barbarossa

    Operation barbarossa the codename for the largest military operation that involved 3 million troops and 3,500 tanks when nazi germany invaded soviet union. Underestimating soviet union resources, soon german offensive were running low. Soviet union had t-34 tanks that drove german back. As russia winters set in, it killed the operation for germany, causing them to lose the war. Manpower was lost towards hitler, and soviet dominated economically.
  • Attack on Pearl Harbor

    Japanese attacked the american base at pearl harbor near hawaii, destroying tons of battleships, 200 airplanes and 2,000 soldiers and sailors. President franklin roosevelt asked to declared war on japan, congress allowed. 3 days later germany and italy also declared war on united states. Japan wanted to destroy the pacific fleet so american wont fight back while japan forced through south pacific. But failed, u.s tried to avoid the war as long as they could.
  • Wannsee Conference

    A meeting about the final solution decision. The conference is held by reinhard heydrich, but adolf eichmann is also accompanied who made a decision that led directly toward holocaust. The meeting was to mainy figure out what to do with the jews, and their solution was termed the final solution. and that was the setting up death camps to eradicate Europe's Jews. There were many camps being made while the nazi’s help get rid of the jews.
