    The film jaws was a movie that was a first of its kind. Jaws managed to bring a fear of the ocean to people who would watch the film. Monster movies before this were really cheesy and not very good. This film barely showed the shark which added an extra layer of fear to the audience.

    Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
    Before this time we were not presented with many quality films in the Sci-Fi genre. This film was one of the first that managed to mix practical with visual effects so well that it looked fantastic on the big screen. StarWars would go on to be one of the greatest Sci-Fi films of all time.

    This movie followed "Jaws" which it had heavy influence from. Alien focused on the fear factor by not excessively showing the monster. Alien is a lot called one of the best films of all time. There would be many more movie in the Alien franchise that would not quite live up to the greatness of the original film.

    Many adventure movies before this time lacked the little something that this film brought to the table. This film would go on to launch many sequels in the "Indiana Jones" series that would all be his themselves. This would also go on to inspire many adventure films that would take many aspects from this film.

    Before this time films that had a target audience of children or young teens, were not that great. This film was one of the first films that would be able to be watched by every member of the household because it simply appealed to everyone. This would go on to spark a large production of family oriented movies through the years.

    Ghostbusters was one of the first films that was widely accepted by the general public, that dealt wth the paranormal. One of the reasons that this film was so successful was that it managed to seemly combine comedy and actual scary aspects.

    The film "Die Hard" was a movie that was in a way kind of a genius film. The film to this day has people questioning wither this is a holiday movie or not due to the film taking place on christmas. The film was also supported by a great cast of actors and really developed villain.

    "Jurassic Park" was a film that still holds up to this day, and has some of the best visuals that beat most films to the present day. This film managed to change the game when it came to practical effects along with visual effects. They managed to completely make the entire visual effects all seamlessly merge together and appear fantastic on the big screen.

    Animation had been around for awhile before this film was released, but this film managed to change the way we as an audience look at animation. This film managed to make animation look really nice and clean compared to many film that came before it.

    The film "Pulp Fiction" was destined to be a classic since its release. The movie allowed you to really feel for the characters and make you actually care when something happens to them in the film. This film was a start to a series of amazing films that the same director would come to produce through the years.

    Saving private Ryan would go down as one of the best war movies that have ever been produced. This of coarse was not the first war film to come out but sure was to be considered one of the best. This film really got down on character development and allowed to to actually care about the people in this film.

    This film was unique in the film industry in a sense that it showed that you don't need a huge budget in order to make a good film. This film managed to create an actual scary experience with an extremely small budget and small cast of actors. This would go on to inspire many low budget horror films.
