    The first ten amendments of the constitution
    1) Freedom of religion, press, expression, assembly
    2) RIght to bear arms
    3) SOldiers do not have the rights to take up quarters with civilians
    4) No unlawful search and seizure
    5) Right to Due Process
    6) Right to a Fair Trial
    7) RIght to Trial by Jury
    8) No Cruel and Unusual Punishments
    9) The Consitution does not hold all of the rights of individuals and the states
    10) Any rights not in the constitution are left to the states and the people.

    11th Amendment
    Restricts ability of individuals to bring suit against states in federal court
  • 12th Amendment

    12th Amendment
    Provides procedures for electing president and vice-president.
  • 13th Amendment

    13th Amendment
    Abolished Slavery and involuntary servitude.
  • 14th Amendment

    14th Amendment
    Provided citizenship rights and equal protection under the law to every natural born persons of the US.

    Granted all (Men) right to vote and could not be discriminated against based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

    Allows Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states on the basis of population

    Direct election of senators in each state.

    18th Amendment
    Prohibition of alcohol.

    Women's Right to Vote

    Moved the end of the presidential term to Jan. 20th, and the end of the congressional term to Jan 3rd.
