  • Emmit Till

    Emmit Till was a 14 year old who was brutally murdered for allegedly flirting with a white women. The defendents went through a 67 minutes court case in front of a all white jury and were proven innocent.
  • Rosa Parks and the starting of the Montgomery Bus boycot

    Rosa Park resisted a White man's orders to move to the back of the bus when coming home from work. This started the Montgomery bus boycott.
