Heston went to school at Latymer Upper Sear school for one than transferred to Lacey Green Church of England School. At these Heston didn't learn to cook these were normal schools.Heston learned to cook by cooking the same dishes over and over till perfection.

When Heston was 16 he went out to dinner with his family to a two Michelin star restaurant, L’Oustau in Provence. Heston fell in love with cooking by the smells he experienced in the restaurant.

In 1995 Heston bought his first restaurant a small 450 year old pub in Bray, a small pub with no view and just an outside toilet.At first The Fat Duck opened a small bistro serving French classics. now it has moved on and is known for the strange menu list.Now The Fat Duck is one in only four in England and Ireland to have 3 Michelin stars.

Heston released his first book, Family Food. This book is aimed to at all ages especially encoring kids to cook with their family. Inside the book is family friendly recipes and tips on how to cook.

The Hinds head was taken over by Heston in October 2004, heston has aimed it to be a real brittish pub that serves pub style food.

Heston first released six short half an hour episodes in 2005 called Kitchen Chemistry with Heston Blumenthal, he then released a book to go with the series and it was distributed to schools all over the UK and Ireland.
