Get regular checkups and stay sexually healthy by practicing safe sex and visiting a gynecologist or getting testicular exams. Throughout now and the rest of your life you should be eating fruits and vegetables, fibers and whole grains, low fat dairy, and lean meats and proteins.

    As metabolism starts to slow in the 30s and as the body starts to replace muscle with fat, it is benificial to build muscle and aintain a healthy weight. Also consult with a dcotor before getting pregnant. It is recommended to get a comprehensive visual and hearing test every 1-2 years.
  • Decade: 40s

    Decade: 40s
    It is improtant to practice a preventative lifestyle in your 40s because this is when risks for diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and other conditions are rising. Chronic pain, stress, blood pressue, and cholestrol are other problems that are prominent in the 40s. Things such as sexual health and vision and hearing start to deteriorate, so it is important to watch out for those as well.

    The 50s brings even more risk for the same problems in the 40s, and introduces more. This can, however, be madfe less with regular screenign, checkups, and doctors visits for many things such as vision and hearing, diabetes, cholestrol, skin exams, dental exams, immunizations, and screening for diseases.

    The 60s is when you really feel what the term growing old means. You can come to enjoys it if you live a healthy lifestyle though. It is only ever a benefit to quit moking, but even more so in your 60s. You have to take extra care to protect your heart. You have to reduce your risk of falls both in home and out, because it is harder to pick yourself up.
