Tom loses his grandmother in whom he is pretty close to. Tom is in denial and thinks that it did not happen. He is also angered because he is close to her and did not want it to happen.

Tom finds out that heart disease runs in the family. To lower the risk Tom decides to not smoke, exercises regularly, lowers his cholesterol, and he tries to avoid trans fat.

Tom's uncle begins to smoke again. He his worried that his uncle could get asthma, COPD, bladder cancer, or high blood pressure.

Tom goes to a party and after the party is over all off his friends are drunk. So he decides to take over the keys and drives everyone home.

Tom gets the flu and is not feeling well. Ways he can treat it is that he can take convential medicine, take vitamins/minerals, or take harbel supplements.

Tom's son is going through puberty and things his son could experience is that he could get lack of sleep and heis son could gain some temper.

Tom's son tries to make a pledge that he is going to stay abstinent. Tips his father gives him is that he should set physical boundaries with his girlfriend. He also says to be focused on what you want to do. Finally, the last tip is to choose friends wisely.
