Giuseppe's older sister, Nicolina, was the only other child in the family to survive out of childbirth, his two older brothers did not. She Immigrated to America in 1914 and played a crucial role in Giuseppe's life. She would go on to become successful in America.

Giuseppe Nichola Falcione was born in 1909 in Castel Del Giudice, providence of Campobasso, Italy. (birth certificate)

Giuseppe married his wife in 1932. He married the beautiful Felicetta Vincenza Falcione (Contestabile). They would be a loving couple for the rest of their lives. (wedding photo)

Giuseppe was drafted, forcibly, into WWII for the Italian army. He would go on to be captured by the British and sent to POW camps. At this point in his life, he has a 7 year old son and a 1 year old son. (Honorable discharge papers)

Giuseppe was allowed to return home after the war. He had changed drastically, he put on more weight and was much different mentally and emotionally. He came home to his home in rubble and his sons grown up. He had been away for 6 years. (award for meritorious service)

After his house was rebuilt and his adjustment to civilian life complete, he bore a daughter, Irena, my grandmother. She would go on to become his hope and joy, since the relationship with his sons deteriorated due to the war. (she is the child in the picture)

After the war, his older sister, Nicolina, pressured Giuseppe to bring his family to America for a better life and better opportunity this was especially hard since he had to leave behind his son Mario to look after the house and Mario had to look after his family. Giuseppe set sail with his wife, other son Agostino and daughter Irena.

Giuseppe's oldest son, Mario, finally immigrates to America. After tending to his father's and his properties, Mario takes his family and moves to America for a better life. (left in picture)

Irene wasn't allowed to be alone with a man by her father until she was married, and with Walter L about to ship of to Vietnam, she married him relatively quickly and they had a child before he went off to Vietnam.

My Father was born in a military naval base in Philadelphia. He was the first born of Irene and Walter L. HE would go on to attend college and become an English major. (he's the groom in the pic)

Felicia was the second born child of Irena and Walter L. She would go on to gradate from Temple university, become a teacher and marry Scott Borghi. (farthest left in picture)

After living in America for many years, Giuseppi and his wife complete their citizenships and become full American citizens. At this point in his life he is winding down and looking at retirement.

My Parents married young and are still married today, Walter met Maria at LaSalle University. This is their wedding, it was the largest gathering f the family in recent memory. It was very chaotic. Giuseppe is located the farthest right in the picture.

Feligette Falcione unfortunately passes away before her loving husband in 2001. She passes away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was buried at the Riverside Cemetery.

Giuseppe passes away on June 3rd, 2002. He lived long enough to see his 2 eldest great grandchildren be born. He lived a happy life and a very successful life. He was missed by many. He was buried next to his wife to live with her in the afterlife.
