    He grew up with his parents and brother and then went to college.

    his legacy was to not have the allies lose the war. They did win the war but FDR wasn't there to see it he died in office in 1945 just before the war ended. His Vice president took the wheel and dropped the atomic bomb on Japan officially ending the war.

    He died in 1945 of a stroke. in office the only president to have served four terms. in office he had Polio a disease that many suffered in that time. it causes the legs not to work right so he had to be in a wheelchair most of the time
