INFThe Intermediate-Range Nuclear Force Treatys is a treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union that required both countries to eliminate and permanently forswear all of their nuclear and coventional ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles ranging from 500 - 5,500 kilometers. It was signed on December 8, 1987, but was not really put into action untill June 1, 1988.
