Crying
It seems that my baby boy has learned operant conditioning. He begins to cry and I respond with picking him up, and he stops crying. He seems to have learned that if he cries I will instantly run to his side and pick him up (p. 24). -
Throwing his sippie cup (1 y/o)
It seems my son has taken on similar behavior from his older cousin; he now throws his sippie cup when he seems to get upset and not get his way. He is having a tantrum, and it seems he is modeling this behavior from his older cousin who throws things when he doesn't get his way (p. 25). -

How cute, my son was choosind between two pieces of bubble gum which were the same size; although to him one looked bigger than the other to him (assimilation, p. 26). One piece of bubble gum was short and thick, and the other one was longer and skinner. My son chose the longer and skinner one thinking that piece of gum was bigger.
