    This was is important to film history because it was a well paid risk. It didn't need to happen, everyone thought the audience would not like the sound.
    But they put it in anyways and the audience loved it this would obviously encourage movies with sound in the future that is why this is important to history

    Charlie was able to be so alive in black and white without sounds.
    I think he made an impact on film history because he was the perfect model for a comedic actor. Charlie also put a lot of messages in his films. Charlie was an amazing actor especially for the silent era of pantomimes.

    Although 1970s opened with Hollywood experiencing a financial and artistic depression though later it would become a creative high point for the US film industry

    1980s is when special effects started to become used in films
  • 1980s rise of independent studios and more CGI

    More independent studios such as Miramax, Lions Gate and New line then movies with CGI such as Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park
  • 2010 First animated film to gross $1 billion

    Toy story 3 in 2010 was the first animated movie to gross 1 billion and would later would inspire more to come.
