Technicolor became more famous in this decade and was used for all sorts of films so viewers can look at many new prespectives when it came to watching movies. -

ARC released a new thrilling and car themed movie called the fast and furious, this movie brought the viewers excitement as it showed a spectacular car chase that made the viewers have excitement everytime they watched it. -

Yes, the filmmaking industry became more independent and started making films on their own time and without the help of the companies in the film industry, this made the industry shift tremendously and encouraged people to do things on their time. -
(1970s) Cult films Rising!!!
Cult films became very victorious during this time, people seemed very amused do to the rise and cult themed films, these type of movies made people in theaters creeped out and had people leave the theaters in awe of shock. -
(1980s) Hi, MY NAME IS COLOR
Color was added into movies during 1985, and made a big representation for film, and tv shows in the 80s, color brought more visuals to the productions that made people want to get up and go see movies and tv shows as soon as they saw them on ads on TV. -
(1990s) DVDs take the stage!!!!
DVDs became a big success in the 90's, instead of going to the movies over and over you could buy a movie at the store and go home and watch, so that way you wouldn't spend as much money on the theaters, which was a very smart idea in the film industry. -
(2000s) A lot of movies became oscar winners
During these times, a lot of movies became big with the oscars, meaning the movies were so successful that they one many oscars for those movies. -

Movie apps AKA apps that you could watch movies and TV shows on became a populat thing, instead of going all out for a movie at the theater, or a dvd in store, you could just use your phone to install an app that most likely has all the movies and TV shows you love on them. -
(2020s) COVID strikes the film industry
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, many film companies and the entire film induistry itself lost billions of dollars due to movies and TV shows not being released for that year because of various cases across the globe that the virus had striked.
