    FFA Foundation created (raises money for FFA)

    First National FFA Band

    Public Law 740 of the 81st Congress passed (gave FFA a federal charter)

    first FFA Center dedicated and opened (Alexandria, VA)

    NFA and FFA merge

    Girls were allowed to join FFA

    Alaska becomes last state to join FFA
