    Father
    The pts. father was born without any complications on March 15, 1967. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the town of Cudahy. The father was a health baby without any health problems. He is currently on medication and an altered diet and lifestyle to treat hypertension and high cholesteral.
  • Mother

    Mother
    The pts. mother was born a health baby in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has had no major medical health issues throughout her life, but she did have four children with one of them being born by cesarean section.
  • Father Graduates

    Father Graduates
    The father graduates with a bachelors degree in engineering. He currently works in the IT department at Johnson's Controls.
  • Mother Graduates

    Mother Graduates
    The mother graduates with an associates degree in special education. She currently works as a classroom aid for a local middle school.
  • New House

    New House
    The mother and father purchase a house together in the town of Cudahy in Milwaukee. They are still currently living in the same house and raising their family there.
  • Marriage

    The mother and father become married. They had a small celebration with close family and friends.
  • Patient - 1st child

    Patient - 1st child
    The patient is the oldest child of four. He was born on St. Patricks day 8lb. 6oz at St. Joe's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The patient had a rough delivery and was delivered with vaccume suction which caused him to break his right clavicle. He is currently in the 8th grade and enjoys playing basketball, soccer, and swimming. He has multiple food allergies: beef, dairy products, egg yolk, fish, heparin (bovine), heparin (porcine), lamb, melon, pork, shellfish, turkey, and other foods.
  • Brother - 2nd child

    The second child was born a healthy baby boy with no complications at St. Joe's Hospital Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born 10lbs 10oz. He is currently in 7th grade and enjoys playing soccer, basketball, football, and swimming.
  • 2nd child has siezures

    2nd child has siezures
    The second child in the family was diagnosed with Febrile siezures that started when he was about 1 y.o. and lasted until he was about 18 m.o. He has not had any siezures since then and has had no complications from the siezures; he is an active, healthy boy today.
  • 3rd Child - Brother

    The third child was born 10lb 2oz at St. Joe's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He had a rougher delivery and required forceps to be delivered. He had no complications from the forceps delivery. The thrid child is currently in 3rd grade and enjoys playing soccer.
  • Death in the Family

    Death in the Family
    The father's mother passed away from heart failure. This was the first time the parents had to explain death to their children. The whole family grieved and coped well. The father also learned that heart failure runs on his mother's side of the family. Since the passing of his mother, the family has been taking care of the fathers dad, who has general health issues related to aging.
  • 4th Child - Sister

    The fourth child was also their first girl; she was born at St. Joe's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by cesarean section. She weighed 8lbs 6oz. She is currently in kindergarten and enjoys playing soccer.
  • New Puppy!

    New Puppy!
    The family adopted a white, female German short haired pointer puppy and named her "Angel". Angel was born in late August and the family was able to welcome her home in late October.
  • Death in the Family

    Death in the Family
    The mother's sister passed away from metastatic brest cancer. The family is still currently struggling with her death and trying to start a new daily routine.
  • Patient diagnosed with Guillan Barre's Syndrome

    Patient diagnosed with Guillan Barre's Syndrome
    The pt. was admitted and diagnosed to CHW with Guillan Barre's syndrome. Symptoms started two days prior to admission with bilateral tingling in hands and feet. Pt. went to school, came home, and by night could not walk; he had to drag himself to the bathroom. The pt. was admitted to PICU with a stiff neck and difficulty breathing. He was intubated and received an NG and central line. He was extubated on 9/12; his NG and lines pulled on 9/14. He is currently working on PT to regain strength.
