PR-EHISTORIC AGE: Cave Painting
The first painted cave acknowledged as being Paleolithic, meaning from the Stone Age, was Altamira in Spain. Most examples of cave art have been found in France and in Spain. Cave paintings were created by mixing different colored rocks, charcoal, animal blood, and berries. The paintings depict the lives and times of the people who lived in the caves. This kind of art and devices are amazing. I wonder how people from this era learn how to create and express their art through cave painting. -

PRE-HISTORIC: Clay Tablets in Mesopotamia
In the Ancient Near East, clay tablets were used as writing medium, especially for writing cuneiform, throughout the Bronze Age and into the Iron Age. Cuneiform characters were imprinted on a wet clay tablet with a stylus often made of reed. Developed in Ancient Mesopotamia, clay tablets were used for over 3,000 years. The tablets were usually dried in the sun or sometimes fired in kilns. Personal insight: Communication grew faster as now there was a way to get messages across just like mail. -

A typewriter is mechanical or electromechanical machine for writing characters similar to produce by printer's movable type. A typewriter operates by means offkey that strike a ribbon to transmit ink or carbon impressions onto paper.
The first practical typewriter was completed in September 1867. The man who was responsible for this invention was Christopher Latham Sholes of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Personal insight: making documented information is become easy in this stage of evolution. -
INDUSTRIAL AGE: Printing Press for Mass Production
Printing press, machine by which text and images are transferred from movable type to paper or other media by means of ink. Movable type and paper were invented in China, and the oldest known extant book printed from movable type was created in Korea in the 14th century. Personal insight: The printing press is a device that allows for the mass production of uniform printed matter, mainly text in the form of books, pamphlets and newspapers. -
ELECTRONIC AGE: Television
Electronic television was first successfully demonstrated in San Francisco on Sept. 7, 1927. The system was designed by Philo Taylor Farnsworth, a 21-year-old inventor who had lived in a house without electricity until he was 14. Personal insight: television gives entertainments in people. it gives a big impact to the evolution of media. -

The personal computer was introduced in 1975, a development that made the computer accessible to individuals. Up to that time computers had been very large and expensive, operated mainly by big companies. The first modern computers were created in the 1950s and have a long theoretical and technical background. Personal insight: finding information become easy and it really amazing because in personal computers people become advance. -
DIGITAL AGE: Smartphones
Information Age Cellular phone technology has increased dramatically over last 25 or so years. Cell phones which were one time bulky in size and limited to voice communications are now called smartphones which are effect pocket sized computers with touch screen technology.
The tech company IBM is widely credited with developing the world's first smartphone.
Personal insight: with smartphone people are more advance because it can bring anywhere meaning anywhere people are able to communicate. -
DIGITAL AGE: Video ( YouTube)
YouTube, Web site for sharing videos. It was registered on February 14, 2005, by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim, three former employees of the American e-commerce company PayPal. They had the idea that ordinary people would enjoy sharing their “home videos.” By the time YouTube was officially launched on December 15, 2005, it was serving more than two million video views each day. Personal insight: YouTube bring entertainment to people by watching videos from YouTube.
