    The U.S and its allies supplied their people from the air because the Russians closed all possible transport ways to the occupied zones. This event lasted for more than a year.

    Treaty between Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the Soviet Union. It stated they'd come to the aid of one another if they were to be the victim of any foreign aggression.

    Fidel Castro drove his guerilla army into Havana to overthrow the nation's American-backed government. CIA had 1,400 troops try invading Cuba and take over but Castro's troops outnumbered them.
