The date that marks the closest anytime ever that we almost had nuclear warfare. The Soviet Union was confronting the United States with Cuba for a full 13-day period. Soviet Union secretly placed nuclear weapons on Cuba that did not come to the U.S.'s attention until October 14. Once it was discovered, America was planning on attacking to ensure there is no attack on us. It ended when Cuba made an agreement with the U.S. to return the weapons to the Soviet.

North Vietnam ends up defeating the south to whom have fallen to communist forces. The South lost terribly due to lack of ammunition, soldiers and spare parts. South pleaded America to give money to help with their depression, but we refused.

The Soviets step down from power and brings new Russian leader into power. This leader will now allow democracy and eliminate all communisim. Berlin Wall was torn down in 1989, so all of Russia is back together.
