    The Albany Plan of Union was a plan with the objective of creating a unified government for the Thirteen Colonies. This was suggested by Benjamin Franklin, at the Albany Congress which took place on July 10, 1754 in Albany, New York.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    British troops shot and killed three people, including an eleven year old boy, and leaving six others injured during a riot.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    A political protest about "taxation without representation". American Colonists dumped 342 chests of British tea off a three ships. The British lost an equivalent to $1,700,000 today.
  • Intolerable Acts

    Intolerable Acts
    Laws as a punishment for the Boston Tea Party. They included the Boston Port Act, the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, and the Quartering Act.
