    Description: The Montreal Protocol is an international treaty designed to protect the ozone layer by phasing and changing the production of substances that are responsible for ozone depletion.
    Implication: The levels of hyper-carbons decreased overall. However the levels of halon concentrations have continued to increase and are predicted to start decreasing around 2020. Now, policy experts are enforcing that ozone protection effort has to be connected with climate protection efforts.

    Kyoto Protocol
    Description: The Kyoto Protocol is an international treaty, related to the UN, referring to climate change to reduce greenhouse gases emissions based on the principles that global warming exist and humans have cause it.
    Implication: It lead to a cut in 29% in the values of greenhouse gases. Overall 40% over from 1990 to 2009. Europe was the most effective change, as at the beginning China and the US didn't approve at first.
