    National Parks Service Act
    his act is a United States federal law that established the National Park Service, an agency of the United States Department of the Interior. The Act was signed into law on August 25, 1916, by President Woodrow Wilson. This act was established to ensure national parks narionwide would conserve scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for future generations.

    Wilderness Act
    The Wilderness Act of 1964 Ccreated a way for Congress and Americans to designate wilderness areas, which represent the nation's highest form of land protection. No roads, vehicles or permanent structures are allowed in designated wilderness. The Wilderness Act continues to protect unspoiled wildlands. Established after congress hoped to ensure past present and future habitat growth and preserve as well as improve the environment.
  • Food Security Act

    Food Security Act
    A nationail legislarion, this act allowed lower commodity price and income supports and established a dairy herd buyout program. This initial legislation was in response to the environmental catastrophe known as the Dust Bowl that occurred during the Great Depression. The legislation established agricultural policy to support production of sustainable food and fiber and help restore confidence in agricultural markets.

    The Soil and Water Conservation Act of 1997 is a national legislation that ensures the conservation, protection, and enhancement of soil, water, and related natural resources. Established in 1977 due to the publics realization of the need to conserve and improve soil and water quality, it examines interrelated issues that have implications for U.S. agriculture and forestry: climate change, biofuels production, and the quality and availability of water.
