    Created a classification for forest areas, a network of protected areas and sustainable forest management

    Prevents the hunting and trafficking of Migratory birds and creates a refuge for them to protect Migratory birds against over hunting and destruction of habitat.

    Environmental assessment can only be preformed by projects carried out by the federal government or Crown corporations

    Enforces rights with exploration and exploitation of living and nonliving resources in the ocean.

  • Species At Risk Act (SARA)

    Would have protected species at risk and also there habitat, but the act was later ended in October of 2000
