  • National Parks Service Act 8/25/1916

    Establishes the National Parks Service Act which is a agency of the United states Department of the Interior. This shall promote and regulate the use of National parks and Monuments and other reserved areas.
  • Clean Air Act

    This Act is designed to control air pollution to a national level and it tries to improve air quality in heavily populated areas and also in National Parks.
  • Clean Water Act

    This Established to regulating the amount of pollution being dumped and ending up in bodies of water in the United States. This also set water quality standards for all pollutants in the water.
  • Stockholm Decloration

    It was used by the united nations conference on the human environment at the 21st premature meaning as the first document as environmental law. It used energy by splitting three categories including earth watch, environmental management, and 109 supporting measures.
  • Endangered Species Act

    This Act was designed to protect endangered species from becoming extinct as a consequence of economic growth and development.
  • Safe drinking water act.

    EPA set standards for drinking water and with its partners implements energy was used with technical and financial programs to ensure safe drinking water.
  • Soil and Water Conservation Act

    This act requires the USDA to prepare a national plan for soil and water conservation every once in a while.

    This was an agreement to protect the stratospheric ozone layer by controlling the production and the usage of of things that are bad for the ozone layer. The Ozone layer is important because it blocked all the harmful UV radiation from the sun.

    This is also known as the Antarctic Environment Protocol, This is part of Antarctic Treaty System This provides protection of the Antarctic environment and the dependent associated ecosystems.
  • Kyoto Protocol

    This is a international treaty which extends the 1992 United Framework Convention on Climate Change, This commits state parties to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This also supports global warming.
