Elon Musk founded PayPal in December of 1998. At the time, it was just called x.com. Its headquarters is in Palo Alto, California. Elon Musk was 28 when he founded it. PayPal is also how Musk got his first billion. -

Elon founded one of his most successful companies in 2003. Tesla, as you might know, is a car company. The thing about the cars Tesla sells, is that they're all fully electric. They use lithium-ion batteries for power and are the first to do so. Tesla's most successful car, the Model 3, sold about 454,932 cars. -
PayPal gets Bought
In 2002, PayPal was bought. Elon got over 1 billion dollars from the deal. eBay bought PayPal on October 3. Elon would spend the 1.5 billion dollars on founding a few more companies. I never thought I'd type that. -
Elon Musk Now
Recently, Elon sent a rover to Mars. This is one of their biggest projects. Elon is hoping to terraform Mars into another Earth. Before he dies, he says that he at least wants to help put humans on Mars. He made even those who didn't believe in him, believe in him.
